About Bootstrap Revival

A community revival built around visible commitment.

Bootstrap Revival is a long-term coordination project for BOOTSTRAP holders. Its first major mechanism, Bootstrap Bonds, lets people make voluntary on-chain commitments while keeping the rules, risks, and trust assumptions inspectable.

Why It Exists

Bootstrap Revival gives commitment a public shape.

Crypto communities often rely on vague promises, noisy timelines, and social conviction that is difficult to verify. Bootstrap Revival takes a narrower path: create simple tools that make holder intent observable without forcing anyone into a single strategy.

Bootstrap Bonds is the first expression of that idea. A holder can lock BOOTSTRAP for a chosen whole-day duration, keep full principal by waiting until maturity, or exit early under the program's published penalty rules. The point is not to manufacture certainty. The point is to make the tradeoff explicit.

The project is still experimental, so the posture is deliberately sober: document the rules, expose verification paths, avoid guaranteed-yield language, and invite review before trust.

Principles

The project is built around a few clear constraints.

Commitment Over Noise

The project favors signals that can be observed and verified. A bond is a clear statement of time, amount, and wallet-level conviction.

Transparency Before Trust

Source references, build records, program addresses, and core rules should be easy to inspect before anyone relies on the system.

No Artificial Yield Story

Bootstrap Bonds does not promise a preset APY. V1 rewards come from treasury drip funded by existing BOOTSTRAP, not new token inflation.

Community-Led Pace

The revival is strongest when builders, holders, reviewers, and contributors can see the same facts and coordinate from shared context.

Operating Model

How the pieces fit together.

BOOTSTRAP Holders

Choose whether to hold freely, bond for a duration, contribute to the treasury, or simply observe.

Bond Program

Enforces lock durations, maturity withdrawals, reward activation, and early-exit penalties on Solana.

Treasury Vault

Receives voluntary bootstrapping contributions and slashed principal, then funds reward drip over time.

Trust Surface

Collects source, interface, build verification, and operational references so the project can be challenged in public.

Project Stance

Trust is earned by making the work easier to inspect.

The website should not be the only source of truth. It should be a map to better sources: the program repository, the published IDL, on-chain accounts, build verification, and live behavior.

That is why the trust center sits beside the bond interface. Anyone considering a bond should be able to review the mechanics, understand the penalties, and see where the program can be checked.

Path

From revival idea to inspectable infrastructure.

  1. Foundation

    Define the revival loop

Bootstrap Revival starts from a simple premise: long-term alignment should be visible, voluntary, and inspectable.

  2. V1 Program

    Ship Bootstrap Bonds

The bond program gives holders a way to lock BOOTSTRAP for whole-day durations, mature cleanly, or exit early with a rule-based penalty.

  3. Trust Layer

    Make verification easier

The site now points to public source, a published Anchor IDL, release references, and verifiable build records.

  4. Next

    Broaden participation

The next phase is better review, richer documentation, more community tooling, and clearer operating history as the ecosystem grows.

Participation

Different roles can strengthen the same ecosystem.

Holders

Use bonds only when the duration, risk, and liquidity tradeoff make sense for your own situation.

Reviewers

Inspect source, compare interfaces, verify builds, and flag anything that should be clearer or safer.

Builders

Create dashboards, analytics, wallet experiences, and documentation that make the system easier to understand.
